How Korean am I?

Flashback to my second trip to Korea heading to a remote Korean island called Wido with my partner Kevin. Exploring my own roots, trying to activate the senses, hoping for memories to come back, and understanding the culture that I am supposed to embody .. and realizing that I can only feel what I do feel. 

And I accept it, now. My roots are Korean, my upbringing is German—
but my beliefs, my values, and my intentions are simply myself/Sun Mee. How have you explored your sense of self?⁠⠀
